Proposed Development: Single-storey rear extension and Porch and Lounge Extension to the fore.
En-Plan: planning & Architecture were contacted by the applicant who was interested in gaining planning approval for an extension to the rear of the property and new roof lights to accompany a loft conversion that was currently underway. A planning application was produced and submitted to Blaby District Council Planning Department for a single-storey rear extension and new roof lights on the rear roof slope. The application also showed replacement windows on the submitted plans as the property is located in a designated Conservation Area and as such any change in styles requires formal approval.
Planning consent was subsequently received and construction started. The owner then switched their attention to he front of the property and a year later they approached En-Plan again to produce an application for a new lounge and porch extension to he front of the property. This again received approval and construction has now been completed.
The application sailed through the planning process and En-Plan subsequently gained approval for a new porch and lounge extension to the fore that will breath life into the front of the house and augment the existing living space.
