The Neighbour notification application relates to planning and is a method of pre-approval; if you wish to build a large extension you must notify the local authority, who will then consult the adjoining neighbours to advise them of your planned development.

Priorslee is a suburb of Telford, which is a large town in the borough of Telford and Wrekin in the ceremonial county of Shropshire, England. Telford itself is a new town, named after the civil engineer Thomas Telford, and was created in the 1960s and 1970s as a planned development to alleviate housing congestion in nearby areas.

Priorslee is one of the residential areas within Telford. It has a mix of housing, schools, parks, and other amenities typical of a suburban area. It's located to the northeast of Telford town centre and is known for its community feel and green spaces.

This scheme only applies to larger single-storey rear extensions which are permitted until 30 May 2019. This means that extensions of between four and eight metres for detached houses and between three and six metres for all other houses, must go through this process.

In this instance the neighbours had no objections and no concerns were raised by the Planning Department at Telford & Wrekin Council allowing the applicant to progress the project.
